What you’ll do

Supports the department's strategy and the business goals/needs of external clients by evaluating and implementing/modifying software functionalities in IT systems. Participates in the development of external clients' business requirements, analyzes and transforms these requirements into detailed technical specifications for the development of IT programs, participates in the design and/or modification of the software and/or hardware solution, participates in the development, testing and installation in production of the developed functionalities, provides support for the configuration of IT programs, ensures the maintenance of systems and IT programs. Finds, proposes and implements the appropriate solution for the customization, capacity increase / integration / introduction of a specific IT system based on the analysis of external clients' business requirements.

Main Responsibilities

•  Collects requirements, assists external clients in defining functional specifications for IT services and systems in his area of ​​expertise and transforms them into technical specifications.

•  Is responsible for the proposed technical solution and the entire production delivery process of services in his area of ​​expertise, within the agreed time and quality parameters.

•  Requests, reviews, validates and approves the scope, objectives, detailed design and effort estimate for the technical solution provided by the partners' development teams

•  Requests, validates and approves the solutions provided for the systems in his area by the other technical teams involved and provides support for internal suppliers/developers in order to provide an adequate technical solution

•  Ensures within the project that the delivery process on the systems in his area is successfully completed and meets business and operational requirements.

•  Is responsible for the solution given in the CSB actions and for listing the Risks that have arisen on the owned services that require updating, delivery or new design.

•  Is responsible for creating the project documentation ( Technical Requirements, Connectivity Matrices, etc. ) and that required in the software selection processes ( Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Request for Quotation, Evaluation Criteria Matrix, Integration Plans, etc. ), as well as requesting the update of the solution documentation as part of the software deliverables (data model, API, HLS, etc. )

•  During the period of the projects on the systems in the field, provides the project managers and management teams with any risks that have arisen and recommends actions to minimize them.

•  Together with the technical managers and infrastructure teams, analyzes and proposes system infrastructure resizing based on estimates provided by the business teams, in order to minimize the impact on application performance

•  Is responsible for identifying, listing, analyzing and communicating potential risks that may arise on systems in his field.

•  Provides support in defining the development strategy for IT systems within his field, identifies processes and IT systems that are at the end of the support period, capacity growth needs or outdated technologies. Proposes improvement recommendations aligned with industry standards in the Vodafone Global framework

•  Proactively proposes IT system improvement solutions, new services and prototypes for external customers.

•  Is responsible for periodically updating hardware and software information in the Service Catalog for systems in the field, as well as the Responsible Catalog.

•  Creates, modifies and periodically maintains the Initiatives Catalog

•  Responsible for executing projects to update IT systems in his/her field and for updating hardware and software component versions ( Web
Logic, Java version, database version, operating system version, other integrated solutions, etc. )

•  Responsible for presenting the technical solution to the Testing and Operations teams

•  Provides feedback on the proposed test plan

•  Responsible for the list of open design and production defects, validates and proposes solutions, requests compliance with delivery deadlines from partners or internal developers

•  Provides support on systems in his/her field of competence in the analysis of certifications/verifications as well as the creation of operational reports issued
- hoc.

• Provides a role as technical coordinator on systems in his/her field in complex projects/programs. Plans and organizes activities to achieve project/program deadlines and objectives.

Who you are

•  University degree in IT or technical field

•  Knowledge of
- established web technologies and frameworks and cloud services used for modern application development

•  Solid knowledge of popular design patterns used in the development and implementation of modern solutions, based on microservices, ensuring the efficiency and scalability of applications in a dynamic and competitive environment

•  Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

•  Ability to understand complex technical information

•  Highly enthusiastic, creative, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to innovate and improve

•  Knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one database management system (Oracle, Postgre
SQL, My
SQL, SQL Server, Postgre
SQL, etc. ).

•  Solid foundation in development processes, best practices and design patterns.

•  A good knowledge of J2EE web and architectural standards, API management, data model design is a plus

•  Knowledge of developing, configuring and installing information systems is a plus

•  Good communication skills
