SSC Credit Controller Brașov

Maintaining and managing customer accounts 

Producing debtors statements and follow up with relevant customers 

Building and maintaining relationships with customers 

Working to ensure a continuing reduction in debtor day, producing and communicating debtors report 

Maintaining the cash flow spreadsheet 

Managing Internal platform for 2nd largest debtor.

Compile overdue invoice reports and communicate as necessary 

Monitor customer account details for
- payments, delayed payments and other irregularities 

Assisting in increasing company cash flow and profitability through timely and efficient management of the receivable and target set 

Processing credit card payments and checking credit records and advising accordingly.  

Checking customer's credit ratings with banks 

Re-negotiating repayment plans if people are in financial difficulties 

Tracing missing debtors, liaising with solicitors, bailiffs and debt counsellors where necessary 

Dealing with internal queries about payments and ensuring customers pay on time 

Reconcile all bank accounts weekly, as directed 

Previous experience working in a corporate Credit Control department

Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures 

Knowledge of general accounting principals 

Educated to degree level 

Comfortable using Microsoft office 

Experience of working in or with the Freight Forwarding industry, desirable 

Good understanding of Credit Legislation & Policy 

Fluent in both written and spoken English 

A high level of energy with a "can-do" positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
