Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Support Developer with Unix to join our team and support the development and maintenance of key applications. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of software systems and adapting to regulatory and technical changes.

Responsibilities

Implement regulatory reporting changes as required by authorities
Maintain and enhance applications in response to system and infrastructure evolution
Modify and optimize code for technical performance, security, and specification compliance
Participate in all project phases: technical analysis, impact assessments, estimations, implementation, testing, and deployment
Support delivery across multiple environments: development, integration, UAT, and production
Ensure application reliability by supporting daily production operations and batch process execution
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, provide production support and contribute to continuous improvement plans
Collaborate with internal teams and
- users to resolve technical issues and upgrade system interfaces
Document technical solutions, project activities, and system changes

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in IT system development and maintenance
Proficient in Oracle databases with strong SQL skills (medium to advanced level)
Advanced experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting
Familiarity with version control systems (e. g. , Git
Hub) and configuration management tools (e. g. , Ansible)
Experience with Control-M and Sonar
Qube is a plus
Background in banking/financial IT systems or reporting tools is advantageous
Strong
- solving skills and a proactive attitude
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset
