About this opportunity
We are now looking for a Tax Specialist, for the Western Europe region, UK & Ireland to ensure compliance with the tax legislation, mitigate tax risks, provide expert tax advice and to ensure high quality in tax accounting and reporting.
What you will do
• Manage Direct Tax (including withholding tax and R&D tax credit claims where applicable)
• Assistance with Indirect Tax, Advice and Accounting
• Management of Transfer Prices and Documentation
• Manage tax reporting under IFRS and for local statutory accounts,
• Provide tax advice for tax audits and compliance
• Assist with M&A Financial Due Diligence (FDD) & Finance Integration when applicable
• Liaising with the external compliance partners
You will bring
• Education: Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and/or Tax Law or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in local and international tax legislation
• Knowledge in GAAP (i. e. local GAAP, IFRS)
• Knowledge and understanding of financial systems, SAP would be an advantage
• Accounting and reporting skills in particular excel
• Financial Analysis skills
• Interest in tax automation and process improvement is an asset
• Working with people!
• Adapting and responding to change
• Relating and networking
• Fluent in English!
