About the team
To further our mission, we are seeking a Recruiting Manager to help lead and grow a team of Technical Recruiters in Bucharest. This role will manage a
- cycle Technical recruiting team, focusing on their development and outstanding performance in achieving hiring goals. You will spearhead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and productivity of Stripe’s recruiting organization while working closely with our tech leadership.
What you’ll do
In this position, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, influencing the future of the Tech Recruiting team, overseeing the development and direct management of a group of recruiters, leading
- functional projects, and handling reporting and performance management. We are looking for someone who is a proactive builder and excels in a
- oriented environment—someone who is eager to explore new ideas, experiment with different approaches, and is open to feedback on improving our processes. You will collaborate closely with recruiting leaders to implement key programs and initiatives that strengthen Stripe’s efforts to attract, recruit, and retain a diverse range of talent.

In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater- office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss.
