Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3, 000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis offices globally. You will:

Act as a stream resource on projects (with a focus on energy projects, primarily renewables) to support the successful delivery of specific outputs individually or as part of a team.

Help deliver complex technical due diligence and monitoring commissions to a high quality from specific needs to completion.

Carry out research to identify and collect relevant data and information.

Analyse data to uncover insights that will inform advisory projects and sales proposals.

Prepare reports and presentations that can be incorporated into sales proposals and client presentations.

Present the outcomes of analyses at team meetings to ensure that the insights gained are clearly communicated and propose ways in which these may be leveraged to add value.

Further develop understanding of the services delivered by Arcadis and of client businesses to enable personal performance improvement and career development.

Creative approach to problem solving and finding solutions based on available information.

Take the initiative leading project and team activities under direction as and when required.

Lead and deliver multiple workstreams under guidance from a senior team member. Achieve project objectives and stretch objectives as defined for each project via team briefings and project initiation. Project work involves interfacing and assisting up to 10 people of any level

Role accountabilities

Highly numerate and analytical (quantitative/ qualitative).

Good presentation skills.

Proven project delivery skills;

Advanced proficiency in MS Office;

Capacity to work under pressure and with tight schedule on
- profile, challenging and technically diverse commissions;

Flexibility and creativity;

Strong interest in developing consulting skills including project management, relationship management, sector expertise and service line expertise;

Interest in gaining experience and skills in both technical and commercial areas;

Ability to work independently and strong drive to deliver high quality outputs;

striving for excellence, recognizing that excellence is defined by our clients;

Good team player;

Ability to work in a highly diverse international environment;

Taking responsibility for our performance and our safety.

Qualifications & Experience:

Demonstrable experience/knowledge in delivering consulting projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Experience in one of the followings would also be considered: infrastructures, utilities or transportation. The candidate should preferably have at least 2 years of experience (but shorter experience would be considered for particularly suitable profiles);

Education: Masters degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines (Engineering, Chemistry, Physics other STEM qualifications).
