You will perform a full range of Vendor Management activities for HR Global Mobility Management at Siemens Energy.   How You’ll Make an Impact  • Represent GMM in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers to support our purchasing department• Locate expert vendors and interview them to determine availability and terms of sales. • Set medium and
- term objectives and take responsibility for implementing a performance management system for assigned vendors within the GMM remit.  • Develop and implement contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. • Manage and deliver a portfolio of major vendor management programs to meet the requirements of the overall organizational GMM strategy.  • Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future vendor availability. • Participate in the development of specifications for solutions, products or substitute vendors. • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers. Escalation Management. • Control department budgets for vendors. • Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy. • Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs. - related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level (over 5 years to 10 years). • Experience in the field of Global Mobility Management would be favorable• Structured,
- driven, no problem meeting deadlines• Analytical approach to problem solving, “can do” attitude, working independently as well as team oriented • Fast paced environment: Proactive attitude, have the ability to quickly learn GMM specifics and requirements that have an impact to the business.
