Role Description
The Assistant Manager role at CLINICA HOPE is a full-time, on-site position based in Bucuresti. The Assistant Manager will support daily clinic operations of the General Manager, including coordinating schedules from multiple types of activities (medical, training, management, corporate affairs), managing administrative workflows, and ensuring that patient-facing processes run smoothly and efficiently.
This role will assist in organising administrative and medical activities of the general manager, with adherence to clinic policies and procedures, and supporting the implementation of new programs and initiatives. The Assistant Manager will help prepare reports, track key operational metrics, and collaborate with clinical and management teams to improve service quality and patient experience. The role also includes handling basic organisational tasks, liaising with external partners and other parties, and contributing to a positive, respectful, and patient-centered work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency with office software (e. g. , MS Office or Google Workspace) and ability to learn clinic management or EHR systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and administrative staff.
- Basic understanding of administrative and financial processes such as scheduling, invoicing, and reporting.
- Minimal experience in healthcare, mental health, or a patient-facing environment is highly preferred but not mandatory, but willingness to learn is.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Nurse School, or a related field is an advantage.
- Fluency in Romanian and good command of English;
- Clear commitment to confidentiality, ethical conduct, and non-discriminatory attitude towards the mental health field
