The Opportunity
We are looking for an global lead buyer to join Worldline's Purchasing team in Bucharest.
The portfolio of Purchasing categories will be diverse : services, IT and indirect purchases.
As an international buyer, you will work on all aspects of the purchasing function (from market analysis to negotiation and contractualization).
You will work on purchasing projects in contact with suppliers and users within Worldline.
You will be required to :
- Work in local and international settings
- Analyze and summarize figures
- Manage purchasing projects independently
- Negotiate purchasing conditions
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In coordination with internal customers, you will carry out the following tasks in an international and dynamic environment with a variety of projects:
- Supporting teams in their IT and indirect services purchasing needs : understanding and challenging needs
- Conducting RFP, analyzing findings and document recommended actions
- Communicating with suppliers and negotiating commercial terms and contracts with them
- Carrying out supplier portfolio analysis to identify savings, define tactical and strategic actions to be undertaken
- Market analysis and supplier sourcing
- Define and measure performance indicators and communicate actions taken internally.

We're looking for someone who can drive positive changes, someone who's passionate about what they do, a team player with a thirst for learning and progress.
In practice, this means that you are:
- Dynamic,
- Thorough,
- Flexible,
- Capable to work independently,
- At ease with Excel,
- With excellent analytical skills
- An English speaker, French is a plus
You have studied at a management or business school. A specialization in purchasing is a plus.
And you have solid corporate experience in purchasing (minimum 2 years).
