Head of Global Out-Licensing – B2B Organization

Key responsibilities and activities
- Define and execute the global
- licensing strategy aligned with Zentiva’s overall growth objectives.
- Build a robust commercial framework to identify, evaluate, and prioritize
- licensing opportunities globally.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Operations) to align product readiness and timelines with partner needs.
- Lead partner identification, engagement, and relationship management to license Zentiva products into new markets.
- Negotiate and close complex commercial agreements (term sheets, licensing contracts, supply agreements, etc. ).
- Establish

- win relationships with key partners (distributors, regional players, global B2B customers).
- Work closely with the Portfolio and R&D teams to align
- licensing efforts with pipeline milestones.
- Ensure proactive management of the product catalog for
- licensing, including launch timelines, data packages, and regulatory statuses.
- Own the P&L responsibility for the global
- licensing business.
- Define performance metrics (e. g. , revenue targets, margin contribution, number of active partners).
- Provide monthly reporting and forecasting to the Executive Team.
- Build and lead a
- performing
- licensing team with global reach and local insight.
- Inspire a culture of entrepreneurship, collaboration, and commercial excellence.
Qualifications and required skills
- 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with proven success in B2B licensing, business development, or international sales.
- Strong background in generics or branded generics, with a deep understanding of market access, regulatory frameworks, and commercial models.
- Track record of leading complex negotiations and successfully closing international licensing deals.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with a strong global network.
- Strategic mindset with
- on commercial execution abilities.
- Deep understanding of pharma P&L, pricing models, supply chain, and partnership structures.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e. g. , French, German, Spanish) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
