Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Business Analyst to support the ongoing evolution of the Service
Now platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) capabilities and be confident in advocating configuration over customization, particularly when engaging with stakeholders on technical solutions. This role involves working across multiple areas of the platform to design solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities -
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements across various Service
Now modules.

Promote the use of Out-of-the-Box features to maximize platform efficiency and maintainability.

Challenge proposed custom solutions when configuration can adequately meet business needs.

Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Work across multiple areas of the Service
Now platform, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.

Support testing, training, and change management activities related to platform enhancements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, product, and operational teams.
Skills & Experience -
Solid understanding of Service
Nows OOTB capabilities across multiple modules.

Experience working in Agile environments with
- functional teams.

Ability to critically assess technical proposals and guide stakeholders toward optimal platform usage.

Comfortable working across different Service
Now modules.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in writing clear documentation, user stories, and process flows.
Desirable Qualifications -
Service
Now Fundamentals or Business Analyst certification.

Experience with ITSM, ITOM, SAM, or other Service
Now modules.

Familiarity with configuration vs. customization principles in enterprise platforms.
