Services Technical Consultant (Hybrid - Flexible Option)
Description
Provides technical product support and analysis to other departments for complex problems on company products. May interact with customers and company personnel to isolate and fix product issues. Provides design, reliability and other technical feedback to R&D. Reproduce client issues on test platforms to identify and fix recurring issues as well as potential difficulties.
As a permanent Services Technical Consultant at Broadridge, you will be part of our Customer Success organization. The position implies an
- depth understanding of our technologies with ramifications into client
- boarding, implementation, maintenance as well as the business itself.
You will be directly exposed to the currents of electronic trading, the underlying platforms, and technologies that enable our vast product suite to facilitate trading around the world.
Responsibilities
Understand and analyze the client's needs from a technical and functional point of view
Log analysis,
- house reproduction of reported issues and underlying problem identification
Testing and providing possible fixes when the issue is reproduced
Provide timely support on high criticality incidents
Manual and automated deployments
Continuously strive to improve the customer support experience by implementing best practices and suggesting process improvements
Your profile
2-4 years of experience as Technical Support (Level 1/Level 2/Level 3)
Great passion for technology, basic Java, Unix, XML skillset
Excellent people interaction and Client Communication
Excellent command in English
Resourceful candidate, hard working, curious, eager to learn and develop new skills
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
Experience with ticketing systems and customer support tools (e. g. JIRA, Salesforce).
